Jay Dahlberg of Cambridge Building is superbly confident in the skills and attributes of all he has employed. We have a number of qualified, licensed professionals and also commit to training our ‘next generation’ of builders ourselves through the BCITO apprentice training programme. Director, Jay, is fully trade certified, a platinum member of Certified Builders (including being able to offer the Home First Builders Guarantee) and fully meets requirements for being a Licensed Building Practitioner (BP107907). He is fully involved in every project that Cambridge Building Services takes on.
You will find our team members hold a strong work ethic and are committed to Cambridge Building’s Standards of Excellence. They are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about your project.
Should you wish to see the progress of a current project or visit recent works then they will be happy to assist you (due to health and safety requirements we require advanced notice). A range of past client testimonials are available on request.
A little about where it started.
Our friendly owner, Jay Dahlberg, established Cambridge Building Services in 2010 after many years of experience building for reputable Cambridge builders and as for himself as a sole trader.
Prior to his experience as a builder Jay completed his joinery apprenticeship and was a fully qualified joiner for six years creating custom cabinets and joinery. This background in joinery ensures Jay has an eye for detail and quality finishing, high quality workmanship that he prides himself and his team in providing. To use the old adage: his workmanship speaks for itself, feel free to check out his recent projects and testimonials.
When he's not busy working, Jay is a "active relaxer". He enjoys chasing a small white ball around golf courses and easily agrees to fishing trips on the Coromandel. Jay prioritises family time and enjoys a range of outdoor activities with his girls. He especially loves it when his wife and daughters are keen to join him on camping adventures!
